The Finger Lakes Railway is offering a weekday summer commuter service in Ontario County as a new type of passenger service. In addition to the many weekend passenger excursions, each Wednesday this summer, FGLK will offer a regular train from Geneva to Canandaigua, with 2 hour layover and return service, starting July 2 through Aug 27, with the exception of Aug 6 (no commuter that day).

Whistle stops are planned along the way for possible layover or pick up. This is when the train pulls into a town, blows the whistle for passengers, then continues on after boarding any that are waiting. Similar to bus curbside pick up.

Tickets start at $25 for Adult full-fare from Geneva, Round Trip. Seniors are (62+) $23, Children (3-13) $12. All other stops are prorated. One-way is availalble. Tickets can be Reserved at 315-374-4994 but we will take walk-ups at all Whistle Stop locations.Return service is not availalble when heading east toward Geneva.
